The app requests access to the microphone to allow users to create voice diary entries.
When the user chooses to create a voice diary entry, the audio recording may be sent to third-party services for transcription and AI-assisted processing, but only after the user provides explicit consent within the app.
The resulting diary entry text is stored locally on the user's device. We do not store user recordings or diary entries on our own servers.
Transcription and AI Processing: When the user creates a voice diary entry, the audio recording is sent to Deepgram (deepgram.com), a third-party speech-to-text provider, to transcribe the recording into text.
After transcription, the resulting text may be sent to Groq AI (groq.com) to generate a diary entry title and improve the readability of the text.
This processing occurs only after the user provides explicit consent within the app. Audio recordings and transcribed text are used solely to provide transcription, title generation, and AI-assisted text improvement features.
Audio recordings are not retained by Deepgram beyond the duration of processing. For more information, see Deepgram's privacy policy: deepgram.com/privacy

We do not sell user data or share personal information with third parties except as described above and only for providing the app's transcription and AI-assisted features.
All data is stored locally on the user's device. We have no access to this data and do not store it on any servers.
Users can delete all data by uninstalling the app. The local database is removed along with the app.
The app is not intended for children under 13 years of age and does not collect data from children.
